Official Conference Hotel Accommodations

On-Campus Options
Guest rooms at United College (former St Paul’s University) : https://uwaterloo.ca/united-college/guest-rooms-conferences/guest-rooms
  • Queen/Twin Guest Rooms – standard rate CAD $129.95 (tax included) per night.
  • 3-bedroom Style Guest Room (included 3 bedroom and a kitchen in unit) – standard rate CAD $146.90 (tax included) per night.
Please note the updated information here below regarding accommodations at United College, as there are Hotel style rooms and Dorm style rooms available. Hotel rooms have more amentities but the dorm style rooms are more budget friendly and include access to Wi-Fi, linens and towels.
 
Hotel style guest rooms at United College:
  • queen bed guest rooms (1 queen bed in each) - $115 +HST/night (6 available)
  • twin bed guest rooms (2 twin beds in each) - $115 +HST/night (2 available)
Dorm style rooms at United College:
  • Super single room with Ensuite accommodations (located in United’s new Green Wing)
    • single rooms with a double bed and private ensuite washroom: $80 +HST per person per night (5 rooms available)
  • Double Dorm room with Ensuite accommodations (located in United’s Green Wing)
    • twin size bunk bed and private ensuite washroom : $55 +HST per person per night for double occupancy and $75 +HST per night for single occupancy
  Please note that a 72 hours’ notice is required to cancel booked rooms without penalty. Cancellations occurring within the 72 hour period are subject to a charge of one night’s stay.
 
  • You can book the super single rooms through the Registration page for conference guests.  LACUS2024 is the group access code.
  • You will be able view the rooms and pricing before having to confirm and register. Payment will be due at the time of the booking and will re-direct to a payment portal. After payment, additional services will be listed and you will be able to request roommates, parking, etc.
  • Please note that the system only has the capacity to book one bed per person, so you are unable to select multiple beds in one transaction and the system will not allow the same person to book over the same time period.

  • Ron Eydt Village accommodations (single/double rooms) - CAD $60 (plus 13% tax) per night.
  • MacKenzie King Village accommodations (2–4-bedroom apartments) - CAD $105 (plus 13% tax)

  • Delta Hotel (from CAD $270*): 3 km (30 min walk) to the venue
  • Walper hotel (from CAD $202): 7.3 km (14 min drive) to the venue or 30 min by public transportation
  • Staybridge Suites Waterloo-St. Jacobs area (from CAD $217): 7km (10 min drive) to the venue
  • Courtyard Waterloo St. Jacobs (from CAD $165): 6.5 km (10 min drive) to the venue
  • Holiday Inn Express & Suites Waterloo – St. Jacobs area (from CAD $178): 6.8 km (10 min drive) to the venue
