    BEFORE YOU START

Please read and do your best to follow the abstract guidelines that have been provided.  Submissions not adhering to LACUS guidelines will not be reviewed.

In submitting this form the author(s) understand that although membership status will not affect whether the proposal is reviewed, no presentation will be scheduled on the program unless both registration and membership fees have been paid by (all) its author(s) by the deadline announced on the call for submissions.

    Contact
If the contact is also a presenter, the same person also needs to be included under List of Presenters, below.

    Presentation Details

    30-Minute Papers
presented on-site (face-to-face) are allotted 30 minutes.  Virtual Papers are those made by live videolink; virtual presenters must submit a PowerPoint by a deadline set by the Program Chair and must participate in a dry-run session with the Program Chair before the conference.  Workshops are of variable length; they are defined as primarily involving hands-on activities, not lectures; contact the Program Chair to negotiate the amount of time you need if proposing a workshop.

Separate keywords / phrases with commas.  Please do not use semicolons, slashes, etc.  Do not put keywords in quotation marks.

    PRIZE ELIGIBILITY
.  Pre-doctoral (student) Prize: you must not yet have been awarded the doctoral degree at the time of the presentation.  Post-doctoral Prize: you must have received your doctoral degree within five (5) years of the presentation.  For either prize, you must be the sole author of the paper.  If the paper has more than one author or if neither of the above conditions applies, select "None" below.
Prize eligibility is critical to the scheduling of papers.  If you do not indicate your eligibility when submitting your proposal, you are declaring yourself ineligible.

    Special Needs

List the days and times you cannot be at the conference, based on travel limitations, etc.  If you have no limitations, please leave the space blank.  The Program Chair will do his best to accommodate your travel limitations.  If you leave this space blank or if your travel limitations later change, once your paper has been scheduled, the Program Chair may not be able to move it to a different session (to a different day or time).

Presentation rooms will have a Windows PC with an LCD projector.  The PC will have PowerPoint installed and will have internet access.  If you want to connect a Mac or other device, it is up to you to bring any needed cables or connectors.  If you have other hardware or software needs, please specify them here.

Do you need wheelchair or other accessibility accommodations, etc.?  Please identify any such needs in the space below.

    List of presenters

Unless you are NOT a presenter, list YOURSELF here AGAIN.
NOTE: although you may submit more than one proposal on which you are the first or sole author, only one paper may appear on the program with the same sole / first presenter.
